本計畫預計舉辦臺灣佛學文化假日學校，主要原因在於佛教源起印度，廣傳於亞洲各國，不只在宗教淨化人心上起了關鍵性的作用，在政治、經濟、教育、文化各層面也有非常深遠的影響。東協各國中，泰國、緬甸以佛教立國，越南、柬埔寨等國佛教有雄厚的基礎，馬來西亞、新加坡的華人社會中，佛教為其主要的信仰，顯見在新南向的推展上，佛教文化一定是可以著力的重點。而佛光大學乃佛光山教團所創辦之普通大學，透過本身佛教背景與東南亞國家的佛教文化相結合，希望可以讓更多的東南亞學家年輕學子認識臺灣的佛教文化。

活動將招收菲律賓、印度與緬甸共三國對佛學與臺灣文化有興趣的學員，來臺參加佛學文化活動。對於這三國學員而言，雖然在語言方面與臺灣並未有共通性，但本校將透過安排同學於臺灣各地進行交流並認識臺灣當地文化，並提高未來學員來臺灣就學的意願與銜接。除了佛學文化，我們增加了佛光大學先修課程的體驗成分，在短短數天的時間中，我們共安排了中文系、公事系、蔬食系、傳播系與佛教系的課程，內容相當豐富多元，另也安排參訪活動，讓學員了解宜蘭葛瑪蘭在地特色文化。

本次活動日期及地點為2024年6月22日舉辦之校外參訪活動─宜蘭五結，國立傳統藝術中心。

一、背景

此計畫有其獨特性、互動性，以佛光山據點為主、配合臺灣文化特色所規劃之文化教育體驗，將帶給學習者既輕鬆有趣，又涵蓋知識及文化傳遞之課程活動。深層面而言，透過此計畫行銷宜蘭地區，同時亦能提高臺灣主題式佛學教學之國際競爭力，奠定臺灣國際中遊學品牌之口碑。

本假日學校特色有：

（1）了解觀光佛學計畫、評估佛學遊學團市場
（2）宜蘭文化特色資料分析
（3）與產業密切合作，行銷及推廣教材。本校主旨為讓學習者藉由親身體驗在地文化中，獲得學習佛學的樂趣。為使效益最大化，需連結更多合作單位機構及潛在客源，進行互動與交流，策劃實體活動，推廣本教材、課程至產業及學校單位，落實產學結合。
